How MRBCC handles information submitted through the website.

This policy explains how MRBCC Custom Decks may collect and use information from visitors who contact the business through the website.

AI Project Assistant

The optional chat assistant uses OpenAI to generate replies. When you send a chat message, your message and the conversation so far are processed through MRBCC's Hostinger-hosted chat service and OpenAI. Please do not include passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal details. AI replies can be inaccurate; an MRBCC representative can confirm project details, pricing, and availability.

The chat service does not save conversation logs. OpenAI and Hostinger may retain service or security data under their policies. The chat requests are configured not to store Responses API conversation state; this does not remove provider security or abuse-monitoring retention. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Your conversation and unsent form details are kept in this browser tab's session storage while you follow links within the site. Refreshing the page starts a new chat. You can also use Clear conversation. Saved chat state expires after eight hours and is cleared when a new visit is recognized. Browser session restoration can preserve tab storage.

Choosing Request a conversation is optional. Only when you select Send request are your name, email, phone, project town, editable project notes, page address, and a request identifier submitted through Web3Forms to MRBCC. The form does not send the full chat transcript or book an appointment. Successful chat inquiries may be counted in Google Analytics using the form identifier, category, and page path; chat text and contact details are not included in those events.

Information Collected

When you use a website form or contact MRBCC directly, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, city or service location, and details about your deck, carpentry, or outdoor project.

How Information Is Used

MRBCC uses submitted information to respond to quote requests, ask follow-up questions, schedule conversations, evaluate project fit, and communicate about services requested by the visitor.

How Information Is Shared

MRBCC does not sell personal information submitted through the website. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the business, respond to the request, comply with law, or work with service providers that help maintain the website, email, hosting, form delivery, or customer communication tools. Website form submissions may be processed by Web3Forms so the message can be delivered to MRBCC.

Email and Phone Communication

By submitting contact information, you allow MRBCC to reply by email, phone, or text about your request. You can ask MRBCC to stop contacting you about a request at any time.

Website Hosting and Technical Data

The website may be hosted by third-party hosting services such as Hostinger. Standard technical data such as browser type, device type, IP address, referring page, and pages visited may be processed by the hosting provider and by analytics tools used on the website.

Google Analytics

MRBCC uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic, page engagement, referral sources, general device and browser information, and approximate geographic trends. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect measurement information. MRBCC uses this information to improve the website and evaluate marketing performance, not to sell personal information submitted through forms. We also measure successful quote requests and career inquiries using the form identifier, form category, and page path. We do not include submitted names, email addresses, phone numbers, or message text in these analytics events.

Data Security

MRBCC takes reasonable steps to protect submitted information, but no website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention

MRBCC may keep inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the request, maintain business records, manage project communication, or comply with applicable obligations.

Your Choices

You may contact MRBCC to request an update, correction, or deletion of information you previously submitted, subject to any business or legal recordkeeping needs.
